Long-distance love, by the book

My publisher, Quirk, recently did some spring-cleaning and found a box of foreign editions they had no use for, so they sent them over to me. I've seen some before but not others, and I'm having fun comparing and contrasting how these different cultures choose to illustrate a guide to surviving an LDR.

• Here's the Long-Distance Relationship Guide in German:

• In Complex Chinese (She travels with her cat.):

• In Japanese (I hope there's nothing valuable in those hastily discarded suitcases):

• In Italian (I love his hairdo—and that they actually look happy to see one another.):

• And the American version, where she's doing the time-tested kiss-kick:

Which is your favorite?

I love the Chinese one. It looks super-60s. Also funny: the people on the cover don't exactly look Asian.

That is strange, isn't it?! Also, the strip of pink paper at the bottom of that cover comes off to reveal a Paris skyline. Hmmm...
